Good Chemistry Nurseries prioritizes supporting our community through philanthropic outreach and involvement. On Friday, Aug. 26, we were a proud sponsor of the fourth annual Urban Nights event at Denver’s Mile High Station. This multi-sensory outdoor, high production charity fashion show featured a red carpet, delicious food trucks from local vendors, international designer displays, silent auction and more. While the evening was filled with fun, the emphasis was on awareness and fundraising for Urban Peak, a nonprofit organization that helps youth experiencing homelessness and youth at risk of becoming homeless.
“Engaging with issues such as homelessness has allowed Good Chemistry Nurseries to connect with our community on a whole new level,” CEO Matthew Huron said. “We have seen how advocacy can lead to change, and it is our responsibility as a Cannabis business in this city to contribute to these causes.”
Urban Nights is largely sponsored by local businesses that prioritize the unity of the Denver community in the fight to end homelessness. Its longstanding tradition of promoting this important cause has brought businesses ranging from car dealerships to dispensaries together for a single night of philanthropy and fun.
“Urban Nights is the successful event that it is today because of the support of our community’s businesses such as Good Chemistry,” said Justin Joseph, Joseph Family Foundation. “The local businesses who have chosen to contribute and make a difference in the community have made Urban Nights one of Denver’s most phenomenal galas of the season.”
