“Threads of Promise” to connect the fabric of fashion and philanthropy for at-risk youth.
Good Chemistry Nurseries is committed to supporting the community through philanthropic outreach and involvement. We are proud to announce that in 2017 we will be returning as main sponsor of Urban Nights “Thread of Promise” – an event dedicated to connecting, supporting and redirecting the lives of at-risk youth. This year’s fashion show will occur on August 5th at the historic Colfax Viaduct at Mile High Station.
The event supports the following charity beneficiaries, all with the shared vision of providing critical services to at-risk youth in our community:
- Urban Peak: A non-profit Non-profit that ignites the potential in youth to exit homelessness and create self-determined, fulfilled lives.
- The Danny Dietz Foundation: A non-profit that offers physical training, mentoring and after school tutoring, supporting at-risk youth with the necessary guidance and mentorship they need to help give purpose to their life and to build a wealth of confidence within themselves.
- La Academia: A private school 7th-12th grade providing education for at-risk youth. Students have experienced, are experiencing, or are at risk of poverty, hunger and homelessness. They are also at risk of succumbing to the enticement of gangs, of becoming school dropouts, and of becoming victims of suicide.
