How did you end up working for Good Chemistry?
I was sitting behind the reception desk at another dispensary I was managing before I worked for Good Chemistry and Stephen Spinosa walked through the door. We got to talking about the product and as he was leaving, he gave me his card. Good Chemistry was one of the first dispensaries I shopped at as a medical patient living in Cap Hill and I always loved the vibe and how much the staff and ownership cared about the product they produced. I love marijuana and wanted to work some place I could stand behind the product I was selling. I ended up interviewing at Colfax and when the opportunity was available I made the switch and the rest is history!
What is your role?
I am happily managing the beautiful Aurora store and the fantastic gang of human beings employed there.
What makes you come to work every day?
It’s all for the love of marijuana and being able to change people’s lives. Whether that be providing medicine for a patient who desperately wants to ditch the prescription drugs they take, or being able to meet and talk to people who are shopping for the first time legally! Seeing how far we’ve come with legalization and normalization in such a short time keeps me excited about my job and the future of our industry.
What has been your favorite project at Good Chemistry?
Definitely helping open the Aurora store. Having an owner that took the time to be thoughtful about the look and feel of his stores makes all the difference. It is such a large, overwhelmingly beautiful dispensary, it’s mind blowing that we get to work there every day!
Where would you like to see Good Chemistry in the next 5 years?
Total world domination! I would like to see Good Chemistry continue to maintain the fantastic name they’ve built for themselves while expanding into other states and taking on amazing new projects.
What are some of the things you like to do outside of work?
When I’m not working, I’m dabbing! I enjoy acting like I can cook, talking people’s ears off about marijuana, road trips, hiking in the mountains, going to as many concerts as possible, thrift stores, and enjoying some hard snuggles with my pup.
