February 25th 2017 was a night to remember for the Good Chemistry Nurseries team! Members of the company turned out for an evening of creativity, culture and compassion at Westword Artopia 2017. Thousands of people filled City Hall to explore the culture of the Mile High City – through both sight and sound, all in support of a good cause.
While live painters executed street style works of art in real-time, musical acts including The Late Ones, Sole and Azon Classic took the stage. Upstairs a silent disco raged with Denver’s best DJs spinning tracks amongst fine art exhibitions. The Whiteout fashion show, a recurring favorite, shined the spotlight on Denver’s leading designers: D’Lola Couture, Equilibrium, Mona Lucero, Gino Velardi, Elyse Rainbolt, AnnaFesta, Blackberry Maverick, Denver Bespoke and Jiberish.
Nestled between a tarot card reader, a tattoo artist and a skateboard shop lies the Good Chemistry team, at our S.T.A.T.S booth. Staff members from both Aurora and Colfax locations, as well as members of the leadership team joined forces to spread the word about how to identify high quality flower through sight, touch, aroma, taste and sensation.
Proceeds from the event support organizations that help members of Denver’s most vulnerable communities to make life choices that positively impact their future by teaching them to develop the coping tools, inspiration, and wherewithal to succeed in today’s world and to become leaders of tomorrow. Good Chemistry Nurseries was founded in the spirit of making life better for everyone – and we’re proud support these communities while celebrating the artistic expression of Denver’s greatest designers, artists, and musicians at Artopia 2017!
